I Vocal Master Course Rules

  • The Organizer of the vocal training course (hereinafter referred to as ‘Course’) is MS KOM Sławomir Maćkowiak in cooperation with PortalKatowicki.pl.
  • The Course will be held in Wrocław between 1st and 4th of July 2019. It will be conducted by Joanna Kozłowska (www.kozlowska.pl), opera singer and solo singing teacher from the Poznan Academy of Music and the Vocal Music Department of the Keimyung University in South Korea. Classes, with piano accompaniment, will take place at the Music and Literature Club situated at Plac Gen. T. Kosciuszki 10 in Wroclaw, Poland.
  • Eligible candidates are students of second-level music schools, students and graduates of music universities, both Polish and foreign; classes with foreign participants will be conducted in English.
  • The classes will be held every day and divided into two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. On the day of the Concert, only the morning session will be held.
  • Morning sessions will be focused on voice emission work. Afternoon sessions will be devoted to work on particular compositions and on issues indicated by Participants.
  • It is possible to take part in the Course as an Observer. Observers attend the classes without active participation.
  • By accepting the Course Rules, Participants give their full consent for the presence of Observers at their classes.
  • Participants shall perform at the Final Concert to be staged at the Music and Literature Club in Wroclaw, Poland. The Concert programme will be agreed with the Participants once the Course has commenced. The Concert performance will be open to the general public.
  • Candidates interested in participation in the Course need to submit the application form available at www.kozlowska.pl and send attached at least one recording of a classical vocal piece: a song, opera air, concert air, or a fragment of a larger vocal-instrumental work with the participation of the Candidate.
  • Admission to the Course will be confirmed in writing via an e-mail message sent to the address stated in the application form.
  • Having received the confirmation of his or her participation in the Course, the Participant shall transfer an advance payment of PLN 250 (PLN 100 for Observers) into the Organizer’s bank account. Payment of the full Course fee is required to be made by 15 June 2019 and failure to effect the payment by that date shall be tantamount to resignation from the Course, in which case the advance payment shall not be reimbursed. Participants are entitled to have their advance payments reimbursed if they inform the Organizer of their resignation not later than by 1 June 2019.
  • Participants are obliged to provide scores for the Accompanist. The scores shall be returned immediately after the Course completion.
  • The Organizer shall not make available to third parties in any form the audio-visual materials submitted for the needs of the registration process.
  • Participants consent to the Course being recorded by photographic or audio-visual means and they further consent to the later use of such recorded material in the public domain.
  • Participants consent to receiving e-mail or phone messages from the Organizer, with organizational, advertising or general contents, or related to the upcoming Course.
  • Organizational issues not directly related to the classes (such as accommodation or meals over the duration of the Course, etc.) are the exclusive responsibility of Participants.
  • Any disputes impossible to resolve in the complaint procedure shall be exclusively settled by the state authorities competent for the seat of the Organizer.
  • To matters not regulated by these Rules, the provisions of law binding in Poland and, if necessary, the EU law provisions shall apply.
  • The Rules come into force as of 1 April 2019.

Rules for the processing of personal data

According to art. 13 of Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46 / EC, so-called RODO), we inform that:

The administrator declares that none of the personal data provided is disclosed to third parties in Poland or to a third country or an international organization. Personal data is processed only for the purpose mentioned above.

When signing up for the course, providing data is voluntary but necessary to recognize the application.

The data is processed on the basis of art. 6 points 1 lit. a RODO (GDPR) until you withdraw your consent or express objections. At the same time, data subjects have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, transfer data, object to their processing and the right to file a complaint to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
